Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Muse Video website, generator workspace, account features, subscriptions, credit purchases, uploaded reference media, generated results, and support communications.

MuseVideo is an independent creative workspace. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta. When the workspace gives access to third-party AI models or providers, their processing may also be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, profile image, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
• Generation content: prompts, uploaded images, video, audio, reference materials, selected model settings, and generated outputs.
• Usage information: feature interactions, generation history, credit usage, timestamps, error reports, and performance data.
• Device and network information: browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, and security signals.
• Billing information: plan, transaction status, purchase history, and limited payment metadata supplied by our payment processor. We do not store complete payment-card details.
• Communications: information you include when contacting support or responding to service messages.

How we use information

• Operate the Muse Video generator, process prompts and reference media, and deliver generated video or image results.
• Create and secure accounts, track credits, process subscriptions, and provide transaction records.
• Maintain generation history and assets when those features are enabled for your account.
• Diagnose errors, prevent abuse and fraud, enforce usage rules, and protect users and the service.
• Measure product performance, improve workflows, and develop new features using aggregated or appropriately protected information.
• Send essential service, billing, security, policy, and support communications.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

AI generation and model providers

To complete a generation request, Muse Video may transmit your prompt, uploaded reference media, selected settings, and related technical information to the model provider or infrastructure provider that supports the selected workflow. We limit that transfer to information reasonably needed to provide the requested generation.

Do not upload passwords, financial records, government identifiers, confidential business data, health information, or other sensitive personal information unless the workflow clearly requires it and you have the legal right to provide it.

How information may be shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not make private prompts, uploads, or generated assets public unless you choose a public-sharing feature or otherwise direct us to share them.

• AI model and inference providers used to process generation requests.
• Cloud hosting, storage, content delivery, analytics, authentication, security, and customer-support providers.
• Payment processors and billing providers used to complete purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate fraud, or keep the service secure.
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable safeguards.

Storage and retention

Retention depends on the type of data, your plan, enabled workspace features, operational needs, dispute and fraud-prevention requirements, and applicable law. Account and transaction records may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Generation assets may remain available through your asset library until you delete them or the applicable retention period ends.

Backups and security logs may persist for a limited period after deletion. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies you.

Cookies and similar technologies

Muse Video uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication, security, language, interface preferences, and core workspace behavior. We may also use analytics technologies to understand performance and feature usage. Browser settings can restrict optional cookies, although blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the service from working.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, transport encryption, monitoring, and limited staff access. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong authentication method and protect access to your account.

Your rights and choices

To submit a privacy request, email support@musevideo.io. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

• Review and update available account information.
• Delete generation assets using available workspace controls.
• Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable law provides those rights.
• Cancel a subscription to prevent future renewal, subject to the Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
• Opt out of optional marketing communications while continuing to receive essential service messages.

International users

Muse Video and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Local privacy rights may vary by location.

Children's privacy

Muse Video is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user's location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information in violation of this requirement.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Muse Video, its model integrations, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
